What we handle

What we plan for

High-income families face the 3.8% net investment income tax, alternative minimum tax on incentive stock options and the highest capital gains rates, plus state income tax. Timing sales, harvesting losses, choosing which lots to sell and using qualified small business stock can change the result substantially.

Charitable strategies such as donating appreciated stock, donor-advised funds and charitable trusts reduce tax while supporting causes you care about. The 2025 tax law set the federal estate and gift tax exemption at $15 million per person from 2026, indexed for inflation, which makes lifetime gifting and trust planning a priority for many families.
