Bethesda, MD · Local advisory

Tax and advisory for Bethesda executives, physicians and families.

Bethesda is home to the National Institutes of Health, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and major corporate headquarters, along with some of the region's most affluent neighborhoods. Our advisors serve Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Potomac clients from our nearby DC office.

What we handle

What Bethesda clients ask us about

Maryland adds a county income tax to the state tax, and Montgomery County applies one of the highest local rates. Maryland also has both an estate tax and an inheritance tax. For executives, physicians and business owners here, timing income, using the pass-through entity election and estate planning make a real difference.

Bethesda's healthcare practices, research firms, professional services companies and federal contractors need tax planning, audits and DCAA support. Many residents also work in DC or Virginia, so we sort out where income is taxed and claim the right credits.
