San Diego, CA · Local advisory

Tax and advisory for San Diego biotech, defense and military families.

San Diego combines a world-class life sciences cluster, a major Navy presence and the defense contractors that support it. Our advisors serve San Diego companies and families remotely.

What we handle

What San Diego clients ask us about

Biotech companies in La Jolla and Torrey Pines rely on research credits, section 174A expensing and the payroll tax offset, and need audited financial statements for investors. Defense contractors need DCAA-compliant accounting and incurred cost submissions, an area where our government contracting team specializes.

Military families stationed in San Diego often keep residency in another state and own homes elsewhere. We apply the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, advise on rentals and home sales after transfers, and handle California filing questions.
