Los Angeles, CA · Local advisory

Tax and IRS help for Los Angeles businesses and families.

Los Angeles runs on entertainment, real estate, trade and a huge base of family businesses. Our advisors serve LA clients remotely with on-site visits when an engagement calls for it.

What we handle

What Los Angeles clients ask us about

California taxes residents on worldwide income at rates up to 13.3% plus a payroll tax, and the Franchise Tax Board is active in audits and residency disputes. The City of Los Angeles also has its own business tax, and large real estate sales in the city can trigger the transfer tax under Measure ULA. We plan around all of these.

Entertainment professionals, real estate investors and family businesses in LA need loan-out company planning, depreciation and 1031 strategies, PTET elections and estate planning. We also represent clients in IRS and FTB examinations.
